Anticoccidial for Poultry

Composition:
Each 100 g contains:
Amprolium (As amprolium hydrochloride)                      20 g

Properties and mode of action:
It is thiamine (B1) antagonist and due to its close structural similarity, It can block the thiamine receptors. This blockage of receptors prevents coccidia from utilizing thiamine and as a result, thiamine is unavailable to coccidian which finally starve from malnutrition.

Indications:
• Indicated for coccidiosis caused by coccidia susceptible to amprolium (Eimeria spp.) especially E. tenella, E. necatrix and E. acervulina and to lesser extent E. maxima
• It is the only agent which can be used in laying birds both for prevention and treatmet of outbreaks of coccidiosis.

Dosage and administration:
For oral administration via drinking water
Preventive dose: 60 g / 100 liters of drinking water for 57- days.
